WHY I WENT INTO MALE UNDERGARMENT BUSINESS –JUSTINA AYINDE

Justina Ayinde is a beautiful female entrepreneur who is doing well in Lagos. She is fondly called Olori Justty. She deals in Male Undergarment business. She recently told City People her story. Below are excerpts of her chat.

Tell us about you? What were you doing before you went into business?

I am Justina Ayinde, fondly called Olori Justty. I am married with a beautiful daughter. I have been in the corporate world for over 2 decades spanning Broadcast Journalism, Banking and Insurance. Prior to setting up Mascayo, I was a Branch Manager of an Insurance Firm. I am still practising Insurance albeit, in the brokerage sector.

Tell me about your business and what you do?

At Mascayo Ventures, we provide people with high quality undergarments here in Lagos since 2018. We believe in kitting people up with perfect underwear and accessories at affordable prices. 

It is where great quality meets great prices. I started this business because I was tired of not being able to purchase good underwear that suited my taste locally, and I decided upon myself to bring the variety and comfort that the rest of the world enjoys to my locality. As a business, we are looking forward to expanding and opening up more outlets in Lagos and Abuja. I’d like to personally invite you to patronise us and get a taste of quality products accompanied by excellent service.

What made you go into the sale of male undergarment business?

I decided to go into the sale of undergarments to fill the gap that existed. Whenever I travelled out of the country, a lot of friends, colleagues and family members did request at regular intervals for quality and durable undergarments from stores, overseas. 

This triggered my interest to cash-in on the opportunity by starting this business. Hence, the need for Mascayo to be born to cater for this need and more.

Our ultimate goal is to establish production of our own quality brand with the right price in order to create job opportunites and add our little quota to our country’s GDP.

We are available on Instagram page, @mascayoventures. Variety of our products are displayed on the page. Clients can order for which ever products they are interested in by sending us a DM.
