Aladukeh is one of the leading fashion designers in Nigeria. She is good at what she does. On 20th July, Aladukeh whose name is Oluwatomi Aduke Adesiyan, dazzled all the guests who came for her fashion show recently. She is an award-winning celebrity fashion designer popularly known by her brand name ‘Aladukeh’.She had an exclusive fashion show, titled: “Russet” The Bridal Collection ’23.
The event, which had Jubilant_events as its decorator and Slessor Events as coordinator, was held at The Monarch Event Centre in Lagos and had all models and guests dressed in Glamorous All White.
It started on the red carpet around 5 pm. The models had their photo shoots at the Cathedral with guests all partaking on the red carpet. This ended at about 8 pm with the main event of the day about stating.
It started with praise and worship by Monique, which got the guests all arose with her song and the story about how she lost a child. She concluded with a prayer for the host and her models for everlasting success.
The event continued with Officialchristy_o and Jaypaulmrflamz as co-MCs calling the models one after the other to walk and show their dresses on the runway. They walked the walk while displaying special music played for each model.
After that, the guests got entertained by officialkennybright band before the resumption of the second outing with the models. This time, they came out with Aladukeh herself. They posed on a vertical line in three places with the host in the middle. Guests were amazed by what Aladukeh had created and cheered her all through.
The event ended around 11:53 pm with the band group still playing for the few guests left in the hall.
The Russet Bridal Collection 23 was so entertaining because it showed the kind of elegant fashionista Aladukeh is. Many guests who were invited by friends, were all left with their mouths open and drooling at the designs showcased at the show.

Tell us about the Aladukeh brand...
Aladukeh is a Nigerian-based fashion brand. We specialise in female clothing. We do bespoke designs and also mass-produce ready-to-wear outfits. The showroom is located in the heart of Lagos, and we also design for women around the world; one thing about the brand Aladukeh is its versatility. We make bespoke outfits for every woman to suit their occasion. We also do custom-made outfits for men.
Why call your fashion brand Aladukeh?
The name Aladukeh came from my middle name, Aduke. Aduke means “the one everybody wants to care for”. So, I chose the name because I want to take care of every woman’s fashion needs around the world. The name is very personal to me it pushes me to build on the brand positively because it’s a reflection of me as a person.
What class of ladies do you design for?
I design for sophisticated ladies, ladies that dare to stand out, ladies that “CLASS” is their watchword when it comes to fashion.
The use of African prints occasionally also appeals to women who are not Nigerian, women of different skin colour around the world who want to identify with Africanism.
Your outfits usually take time to make. Why is this so?
Yes, anything that comes out of Aladukeh takes time because of its quality. The time put into my outfits is to give the best to my clients, I’m a very meticulous person, I pay attention to every detail and this has set me at the top creatively as one on the best in the Nigerian fashion industry. that comes out of Aladukeh takes time because of quality. How did you become a fashion? Did you train for it?
Yes, I trained to become a fashion designer. First, it started as a hobby because I love to look outstanding always, so I decided to get trained, I was a graduate of Computer science at that time and into another business as well, but when people started to ask me who my designer is, I started to make clothes for people and gradually the brand came to be. Becoming a fashion designer is the most fulfilling thing I’ve ever done yet, it’s a reflection of me because I’ve always loved to play dress up since I was a child.
Fashion designing is my life and no matter which way life takes me in the future, fashion designing will still be something I will always do. I trained to become a fashion designer. Will this be her first fashion show?
My first fashion show was during Fadan Lagos Street Festival, but this is my first fashion show exclusively organized by Aladukeh and for Aladukeh.
This particular fashion show is to present a new line for the brand, “Bridal Collection”.
