Why I Went Into Fashion Business 13 Years Ago - LONDON Celebrity Woman, FUNMI ADEMILUA

In London, she is called Counsellor Funmi Ademilua. She is Big in fashion. She is the founder of Meg Charles Kollections BridalFabrics& Lace Trimmings.
She is in a happy mood right now. She is celebrating 13years of her business.

Tell us about the 13th Year Story of Meg Charles Kollections

Meg Charles Kollections was established on May 25th, 2006 based on customers’ recommendation. Prior to the establishment of MCK, people used to compliment about the way I dress and look in church garment. I am a flamboyant dresser due to this my passion then became my business which is why people advised me to start providing them with the fashionable products they need.

I started selling fabrics and accessories from home and delivering it to people, after a while I started to realise that the business needs expansion and plus customers recommendation for more options which made me bring the business out to the public. My first shop at the beginning of the business was in Deptford Plaza on Deptford High Street London. After 5 years I later moved to a bigger place still around the same area.

Initially, I was selling fashionable fabrics and jewellery until I had a revelation from God to start selling fabrics and lace trimmings for Churchgarment. God has used Meg Charles Kollections Fabrics and Lace Trimmings Business to revolutionise white garment churches outfits.

I remember when newly joined Celestial Church of Christthose days, our best fabrics were ``Teru`` and we later improved our church outfits to a popular material know as ``China`` etc. I am proud to announce that God has used MCK to transform white garment Churchesboth C & S and CCC in terms of the way individuals within the church dress in Sutana.

For 13 years MCK has indeed set the pace for other people’s businesses within and outside the church. Today, I have customers across the globe and I know that history will remember the revolutionary stride of MCK for good in the White Garment Churches and I thank God for his grace.

Why did you choose to live in London?

I left Nigeria for Austria with my husband Dr Ademilua in the 90s where I had all my 3 kids. However, my family and I relocated to London in 2002 due to professionals reasons.

Although, I was living a life of comfort in Vienna, Austriabefore relocating to London and I chose to live in Londonbecause I see an opportunity to make an impact in London and across the UK.

Which Church do you attend/ were you born into it?

I was born and raised in Cherubim & Seraphim Church. However, I left C & S Church to Celestial Church of Christat the age of 18 a few years after my father’s death.
I have been in CelestialChurchfor about 35 years and I do not see much difference between C & S and CCC as they are both Spiritual Churches.

Joining CCCas a young girl, my aspiration was to be in a church where my prophetic calling can be developed spiritually and coming to CCC I realised the power and the spiritual endowment in CCC help me fulfilled my aspiration which is why I never looked back.

Today I am proud to be a Celestian and I thank Almighty for what he has done in my family’s life in the Church. I strongly believe that the Kingdom of God can never be divided and that there is a need for unification in Christendom. I attend CCC Archdiocese, NationalHeadquarters, Hartonin London.
