Man of Style, Peter Obafemi, Set To Float New Airline

Big business man, Otunba Peter Obafemi has something big up his sleeves. We can tell you that for free that he is set to float a brand new airline.

Citypeople Online Fashion and beauty Magazine spoke to him about it a few days ago and he confirmed that he is set to take off with his aviation project.

We are almost about to launch the best Airline that Nigerians have never seen nor experience before”, he told Citypeople.

When Citypeople met him he was looking very stylish. Don't forget that he is a good dresser. He is a man of sartorial elegance.

He looks nice all the time whether in formal wears or traditional outfits. He is tall and handsome. And he is always clean shaven leaving his goatee beards.

He is blessed with a good light skin that glows.

He is happy that once again he will be back in the aviation industry where he used to play big.

For some time now, many have expressed concerns about Peter Obafemi, a businessman. Some are wondering what he has up his sleeves now. This may not be surprising as he seems to be keeping a low profile after he suffered a huge electoral loss in 2014.

It will be recalled that he was managing his business when he was lured into politics. He had contested the number one job in Ekiti State in 2014, but lost to the incumbent, Ayo Fayose, in the primary.

A source disclosed that the US-based businessman, who was left broke afterwards, might have bade farewell to politics, as he claimed that many betrayed his trust.

He started out as a businessman in 1985 with Budget TV and Appliances Rental Service Store on Central Avenue in East Orange, New Jersey.

After silencing those who had expressed doubt about his ability to rebound with the announcement, mid-year, of his new plan in the aviation industry, notable aviation investor cum politician, Dr. Peter Obafemi, is resolute in his comeback.

While it’s true that he kept a low profile to get his act together, the sociable gentleman is said to be working hard to make his Great Eagle Airways a model in the industry.

Spotlight gathered that Obafemi is, at present, working on acquisition of two Bombardier CRJ 900 Jets and two Hawker 400 or 700 or 800 on a 3-year minimum dry lease for the take-off of his proposed airline. The aircraft will be domiciled in Lagos.

He was said to have been on it for some weeks now and, is almost about to wrap up the deal.

Obafemi’s Great Eagle Airwayswould operate passenger, cargo and chartered flight services from Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt while other cities in Nigeria and West Africa coast will be added in phases. He was said to have recruited competent hands in the industry and is all set to start flying.

It’s a well-known fact that Obafemi always break new frontiers. His foray into the world of business started in 1985 with his first enterprise named Budget TV and Appliances Rental Service Store on Central Avenue in East Orange, New Jersey.

But he has demonstrated, with aplomb, some success at working in the aviation industry. It is on record that, some years ago, this Ekiti State-born businessman made the impossible possible when he opened the route, Lagos-Atlanta direct flight with his defunct Ritetime/World Airways.
