Have you noticed that Segun Awolowo, the Executive director/CEO of Nigerian Export Promotions Council has stepped up his fashion style for quite a while now?
If you haven't lets quickly tell you that. He has always been a stylish guy since he was young.
All through his life, he has always been a man of sartorial elegance. He knows what to wear to parties and be it informal wears or traditional outfits he is usually well attired.
He wears the best suits. And he looks dapper always. His traditional outfits are done in the typical Yoruba way with rich embroidery around the neck area.
He likes to wear his grandfathers kind of cap. He is the grandson of late elder statesman, Chief Obafemi Awolowo.
In his lifetime Awo, as he was fondly called, had a peculiar kind of round cap that has become so popular now.
That is what his grandson, Segun likes to wear.
Since 2013 when he became the big boss at NEPC he has stepped up his fashion style. Though he is conservative in his dressing, he is still very much trendy and classy. He likes the classic look and age has mellowed him a bit.
Since he took up public office he has worn more of African fabrics. Atimes he wears Ankara or Adire.
He is a great ambassador for Nigerian fabrics just as he promotes Nigerian made goods.
