Pics From The Largest African Fashion Event In The North West of England, Passion for African Fashion #PAFASH2019



Showing leading African designers to media and retailer influence, Passion for African Fashion, PAFASH, has proven to be one of the biggest fashion events in England, following the 2019 edition held on Saturday, August 17, 2019.


Founded by popular style consultant, Ibiyemi Alabi, the show was attended by fashion-conscious buyers and press members. It was held at the prestigious Adelphi Hotel Liverpool and was hosted by the African Fashion Godfather, The King of Couture, Adebayo Jones.

The event featured over 25 Runway Designers, and 35 Exhibitors from African fashion heritage, and also featured beautiful pieces, glitter feathers, and elaborate African-inspired designs and prints, it is for all of these reasons and many more, that PAFASH remains one of the most popular fashion shows of all-time in Liverpool.

Also at the event was a 12-year-old best selling author, Layoya Likambi, who was also a guest speaker at the event.

The event showcased international Designers from Nigeria, Abu Dhabi, Netherlands, Italy Ghana and many more.


The show was honored by The Lord Mayor of Liverpool at the time Cllr Christine Banks,  Deputy Mayor of Liverpool Cllr Gary Millar, NDDIS Director Chief Bimbo Roberts Folayan, the chair of women forum Liverpool Commonwealth Association, Dr. Sylvia Forchap-Likambi and Dr. Karen Johnson.
