The well-known most popular Ado Local Government aspirant, Mrs Motunde Fajuyi - an Accountant, farmer and Politician, was honoured yesterday by the Nigerian Bar Association, #IkereEkiti Branch during a plenary session organised by the Branch, to commemorate the programme tagged "The 21st Century Lawyer Beyond Litigation: A Professional and a Citizen", at the branch 2019 Law Week.
It is not a surprise to be informed that Motunde Fajuyi was married to a legal luminary and a famous lawyer at it, though, it could be a new story to some who are not close to the family that she has a daughter who is also a lawyer and member of Nigerian Bar Association.
It could be a new story too to some that she has a son-in-law who is a lawyer.
These added to her confidence and "authority" yesterday to speak to lawyers glowingly in her captivating presentation on "Beyond Litigation", as if she was a lawyer.
As a Community Development Advocate, she stressed in her presentation on the importance of creativity and knowledge driven programmes by home based lawyers to render quality services to their various communities.
She stressed that THERE IS ALWAYS REWARD FOR SERVICE.
She also opined that good etiquette and professionalism drive good results in any profession. She also encouraged the lawyers to be more articulate and firm in their profession. It was at the end of the plenary session that award of excellent was presented to Motunde based on her outstanding performance in advocacy for community developments.
