Right now there is one fashion
house that is currently making waves on account of the great designs coming out
of that stable. It's called Degbajumo Fashion House founded by Mrs. Omowunmi
Osinowo.
City people Online Fashion and
beauty magazine spoke to her recently and she revealed a lot about her success
story.
My name is Mrs Osinowo Omowunmi,
Creative Director/CEO of DEGBAJUMO FASHION HOUSE. I graduated from the University Of
Lagos, studied PSYCHOLOGY.
Have got an eye for design and a
love for all the latest fashion trends, that is the reason I chose a career in
fashion design.
I Got the name GBAJUMO from the
word "ELITE" which means "GBAJUMO" in Yoruba. I have been
into the fashion business since the year 2012 but officially registered with C.A.C the year 2015.
I specialize in Ready-to-wear, Bespoke
pieces, Embellish Aso-oke for all special occasions and also offer training to
people who want to learn. My clothes are 100% handcrafted by
me(Made-in-Nigeria) from start to finish with quality fabric and sewn with
extreme attention to detail.
My goal is to create beautiful
and unique clothing that is affordable for all sizes, ages and mostly
Women. Through my clothing line,I want to show the creative side of my Artistic
ability.
My mission is to create a fashion a house that can offer superior/unique designs, quality and exceptional
price-value to all.
My Vision is to make my fashion
Brand(DEGBAJUMO) becomes a household name.
