How To Style Jumpsuits By ZInnat Williams

Jumpsuits are versatile, trendy clothing piece that can be worn everyday or dressed up for a special occasion. A jumpsuit should be rocked in a way that flatters the height and figure.
Define your figure with a skinny belt around your waist: belt defines your waist and your figure looks different, it makes you look slimmer. The skinny belt can be in the same color as your jumpsuit or the color of your bag or shoes.

Wear high heels for a tall sleek look: your heels should be comfortable. You can pair your jumpsuit with strappy heels, platform heels or mules but make sure you merge your colors well when opting for your footwear.

Use metallic jewelry: metallic jewelry will make you look subtle and glamorous, pair your outfits with a simple necklace and earring either in gold or silver and you can as well use other jewelry “ ring and bracelet “. You can also use a small purse or a clutch purse with a metallic design to pull your look together.

Go casual: you can never go wrong wearing your jumpsuit casually but it depends on the fabric. Choose a pair of flat sandals or slip on to flatter your height, leg, body, and shape. Minimal jewelry “ stud or a simple dangling earring, a bold ring on your finger, bracelet “, slingback and a sunshade.

Edgy look: wear your jumpsuit with a bumper or moto leather jacket. This can be worked with either a pencil or a wide-leg jumpsuit. Preferably you can pair with sneakers or heels but it has to be open toe.

Dress with ease: it can be tricky to find  a jumpsuit that fits your torso, if the torso is too short and tight, walking and sitting will be uncomfortable and look unflattering.

Wide leg jumpsuits: they fit better on those that are tall and average height. If a petite size would be wearing a wide-leg jumpsuit, you have to wear footwear that will elevate your height a bit so you won’t look down to earth. Also, you can opt for a jumpsuit with a shorter inseam and a fitted top section to look casual yet put together.

Choose a cropped ankle length if you are short: jumpsuit that ends at your ankle elongates your legs. Ankle leg cuts flatter your height and figure best. A tall person can wear ankle-length cut but the inseam has to belong.

Layer a fitted white dress shirt: your white dress shirts should fit in neatly under the jumpsuit and don’t cause any lumps or pulling at seams which can look sloppy. This makes you look elegant and fancier for any event.
