Eri Ajiun Odebiyi is going to be 50 in a few days from now.

Her Birthday is on March 12. She is a very successful and accomplished caterer based in the Mary land area of the US.


She cooks good delicacies and caters for all the big naija parties taking place around her.

So good is she that her services are in high demand. She is the caterer of choice in her neighbourhood.

What has helped her is her nice personality. She is a sweet woman with a likeable personality to go with it.

She is a beautiful woman who is very hardworking and focused.

As she prepares for her 50th birthday she spoke to Citypeople Online Fashion and beauty magazine Publisher Seye Kehinde about her life at 50. Below are excerpts of the interview.

She has been living in the U.S. since 1999.

Tell me how you feel as your birthday approaches.

First of all, I give glory to Almighty God. I feel excited.

What are the lessons learnt so far

I've learned to become more open minded about the things my children talk to me about. Listening before reacting.

How do u plan to celebrate your birthday
I plan to celebrate amongst my family and friends and just have a great time.

Tell me about Eri Ajiun
Eri Ajiun is a very hard working woman, a mother who spoils her children, a good daughter to her parents, a loving sibling to her sister, and she ALWAYS wants to see people prosper.

Where were you born? Where did you grow up?

Ibadan, Oyo state. I grew up in Ibadan, Oyo state and Abeokuta, Ogun state.

Which schools did you attend?

The elementary school I attended is Sacred Heart in Ibadan, Oyo state, including others. The middle school and High school I attended is Abeokuta Girls Grammar School Onikolobo in Abeokuta.

And then proceeded to School of Medical Laboratory Oluyoro, Ibadan.

When and why did you decide to relocate to the  US?

I relocated to the US in 1999, and it was to start a fresh life.

You are a leading caterer in the US What is business-like.

Sweet Treats started in 2003, and since then, the business has been booming. Going very well.

How have you found life in the US?

I've found life in the US to be very blessing. Can't complain.
All in all, to God be the glory. All has been well and will always be well between all of us.
