Tutu Boston & Family Members Look Forward To Mum's 80th

In the next few days, Mrs Oluwayemisi Felicia Fadare Oshun, the mother of Boston based Mrs Adetutu Oshun Bamus popularly called Tutu Boston will be 80. Mama will  be joining the Octogenarian club on Monday 27th April 2020.

Of course there will be no party. Tutu & her family members had planned to celebrate mama but because of COVID-19 the party has been postponed.

Recently, Citypeople asked Tutu Boston to tell us a bit about Mama. She let us into how accomplished her mum is.

Mother, OluwaYemisi Oshun, was born to the family of Pa Jacob Fadare & Lydia Ogunde from Isoyin & Alemafo Ijebu.

She was born on April 27th, 1940. She was the 4th child out of 5. However, she is the only one alive out of 5 siblings.

She married my late father. His name was Adepoju Oshun of blessed Memory. He was from Ijebu Imushin. They were blessed with 3 children: Mrs. Adedayo Oshun-Udoh, Mrs. Adetutu Oshun-Badmus, & Mr. Owolabi Oshun. In turn, they were also blessed with grandchildren.

She worked cooperative in Yaba. She worked at Nasser Leventis Supermarket at Oyingbo as A cashier. Later, started her own business at a popular place called Ojuwoye Market in Mushin. She then retired and moved in with her daughter Adetutu Oshun-Badmus in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

My Mother is a woman of many talents. She is a dancer & Writer. Both Fluent in English and Yoruba Language.

She was titled “Yeye Ayefele Observer” of Yinka Ayefele Fresh FM Radio in Ibadan.

She is also the leader and chief organizer of the Grandmothers at our church:  CAC located in Lynn, MA.

My mother is so unique and holds so many valuable and admirable qualities. There is no match for her as a mother. Her love is unconditional. There’s none like it. She is our world. She always shows unconditional concern for her children and grandchildren.  We are so grateful to have her in our lives as our Mother.
