Otunba Adesanya Yusuf is in a very happy mood right now. It's his 60th birthday in the next few days.
He will be 60 on Monday the 18th of May 2020 and he will just mark it. There will be no elaborate celebration.
The original plan was to have a prayer session here on Monday evening and travel to London the next day (May 19). To leave London on the May 23rd and get to Dubai on May 24th. Spend a week with my children and grand children from UK, US & Nigeria and on May 27th to have dinner on a Boat with the family and my friends.
So now we are Locked down.
All the arrangements had been made but we have to accept what has come.
He has already sent out notification letters to friends to tell them he is scaling down his plans for his birthday.
Profound greetings! By the special grace of God, I turn 60 on Monday, May 18, 2020. As you are aware it was meant to be a unique celebration. However, the dynamics of the Pandemic has altered this. All the same, I would still like to have a small Prayer Session of not more than 15persons in attendance and keeping to social guidelines necessary for safety. You are one of the special people I would like to see if it is possible for you to attend. The prayer session is strictly from 5 pm - 6.30 pm. After the prayer session, there would be Breaking of Fast and Take Away packs for those who want to leave immediately. It's important you confirm attendance and to know if you are coming with your spouse.

In this journey attaining the Diamond Age means a whole lot to me as I am very much aware that "Aanunimorigba". I am a great beneficiary of God's Exceeding Grace" and I would have liked to roll out the drums and celebrate this milestone with you but the current situation won't allow for that. Most of us are aware of my great plans to celebrate this milestone but owing to the Coronavirus Pandemic I have to put on the breaks to my celebration and I crave for your understanding. I know a lot of you had made plans to celebrate with me on the day but we have to put this on hold as we all need to keep to the guidelines of Social Distancing and No Gathering of more than 15 people. Consequently, there would be no celebration and I won't be expecting any visitors on the day. However, on Monday, May 18, 2020 all members in Ijebu Ode and environs would get a token delivery from me. No need of visitations to my house. My request is that you all pray for me to have sound health, longevity and fulfilment in life. Thank you so much for the great love over the years. I look forward to celebrating 70, 80, 90 years with you till the Lord tarries.
