The gorgeous and super talented Elaine Shobanjo is the CEO and Lead MUA at ShoMya Lagos, a ONE-STOP BEAUTY SHOP. After a successful career in Banking in the City, London, she returned to Lagos in 2012 to pursue her passion for beauty full time opening the first ShoMya Beauty Studio in 2012. Since then, she has steadily built a successful brand and received acclaim and recognition from the Industry and her peers winning several awards.
In November 2014, she won the Glam and Essence Style Awards for "Makeup Artist of the year". She was also nominated as the "Makeup Artist of The Year", for 2 consecutive years, by Exquisite Magazine, at the prestigious ELOY AWARDS 2013 and 2014. She went on to be recognised for her ability to juggle her career and motherhood in 2014 bagging a nomination in the "New to Motherhood Moms" category, at the distinguished Working Moms Awards.
In 2019, she bagged more nominations such as: Makeup Artist Of The Year, 2019, Africa Beauty Summit Award and
Makeup Artist Of The Year , 2019. LaMode.
Elaine is particularly credited in the industry for her ability to diversify, offering a range of products and services, including her own make up line, her own brand of hair and braided wigs.
