Olabisi Adeyemi is a damn good actress. She is good at what she does and she has been getting accolades for it. She is one of the actresses rocking the Yoruba movie industry. A few days back Citypeople magazine spoke to her about her success story. Below are excerpts of the interview.
Tell us about Olabisi Adeyemi?Who
is she?
I’man entrepreneur working with a
paint company also an entertainer (an actor and a producer) am also into event
planning
I hail from Osun state in Ilesha
The last born in the family of 5
I finished both my Ond and Hnd
from osun state polytechnic
When and how did you start
acting???
2006/2007 I started from Pefti
school and I featured in some soap opera as Pefti student such as papa Ajasco, super
story that was a privilege as their student then after which I went to register
with Goriola Hassan theater group around 2008/2009 I left the group to go look
for a job and I was away since then till 2018 that I came back to the industry
How many movies have you acted
in?
Wow!!!!many movies I can’t even
recall
Which movie shot you to
limelight?
I can’t say for now but at least
some people recognized as an actor and once my movie is shown on dstv like
Ayawa that’s showing On dstv yoruba I do get a call from my old friends telling
me they saw me xyz movie
I just want to be famous and
enjoy all the privileges other when known celebrities is enjoying and I want to
be relevant in the industry I don’t want a sudden fame that comes and go but I
want to be an ever green actor like joke silva
Tell us about your growing up
years?Where were you born?
I grow up in the north Jos
plateau state am from osun state Ilesha last born of my family growing up for
me have wanted to be an entertainer cos I admire the likes of Joke Silva,Liz
benson they are my role model and I just want to be famous and all so I said to
my self am going to be an entertainer

Not really

produced?
I have produced 3 movies so far
Ayami, Okan mimo and Eni ibi coming soon on dvd and youtube.
