Meet Femi Saheed, the Lagos APC Candidate for Kosofe Constituency 2 Assembly Seat

It was an interesting session with APC Lagos politician Hon. Femi Saheed on the evening of Saturday 26th September 2020 at his Magodo office.

It was meant to be an interview session with the handsome politician who is the APC candidate for the forthcoming Lagos Assembly Kosofe Constituency 2 elections.

He has many qualities in his favour. He is known to be a reliable and dependable party man. He is a stickler for time. And he is a grassroot man to the core. No wonder the party feels he is the best man for the job.

By the time I got there at the appointed time of 7pm, he was already seated waiting for me. He was prepared for all questions I asked him, giving me appropriate answers. He told me about his rich history in politics and how he has been a party man all through his career.

Though he looks young his political career started as far back as the beginning of the 4th Republic. In 2003, he was appointed the Youth Leader of Ward F, lkosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area and served till 2007.

He was Assistant State Secretary of APC and actively participated as a team member for the emergence of all APC flagbearers from Presidency to state House of Assembly in 2015.

He maintained same position during the 2019 General elections.

In 2017, he was appointed a member of the State planning and Strategic Committee for the  conduct of Local government Council elections where he performed creditably well.

His skills and administrative dexterity soon manifested when he was appointed the acting State Secretary of Lagos APC between 2017 and 2019.

By this position, he was also a member of the state working committee SWC of Lagos APC.

In 2019, he was appointed Assistant State Secretary of Lagos APC.He served in this capacity until his resignation in 2020.

As for the full details of what he plans to do if elected read the full text of the interview in Citypeople Magazine. It is an interesting interview.
