You as a girl probably wear your make up to sleep thinking it will help add more beauty to your skin. Calling it "beauty sleep". It is true that we all need to sleep to help reguvinate our skin, however sleeping with make up on is bad for your skin, and here are reasons why you should stop it.
1-
Leads to skin breakout and clogs pores:
You
can avoid skin inflammation, dryness and breakouts by removing your makeup
before sleeping.
The
cell regeneration process causes hair follicles to lubricate and allows oil to
flow to your skin’s surface.
The
residues of make-up traps the oil, causing clogging of pores and breakouts.
2-
Causes Pre-mature aging:
During
the cell turnover process, new skin cells push to the surface while your skin
sheds old cells. Makeup traps these dead skin cells, leaving a dull complexion
while causing your skin to appear aged. Throughout the day, dirt and makeup
become trapped from oxidative stress, causing the skin barrier to break down.
Sleeping with makeup prevents the skin from this much-needed renewal, resulting
in healthy collagen breaking down. Light is unable to reflect off the skin,
making your skin appear old and rough. As makeup interrupts cell turnover, fine
lines and wrinkles can occur. To keep skin looking radiant and youthful, allow
your skin to rejuvenate by removing your makeup!
3-
Causes Eye infection:
Irritation
happens to the eye tissue due to make up residues.
4-
Causes Chapped lips:
Meanwhile,
sleeping with lipstick on causes lips to lose moisture and become chapped.
All
make no needs to come office you want to keep your skin healthy.
5-
Causes dirty pillow:
Residual
makeup causes oils, powders, chemicals, and bacteria to accumulate on your
pillow. The dyes and perfumes found in makeup can create rashes while producing
greasy hair and skin. A dirty pillow will have a similar effect to leaving your
makeup on overnight. Thus, be sure to wash your pillow often.
