+WHY 3 ASO EBI WAS PICKED
When Ex-Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and his delectable wife, Yeye Olufunke Daniel hosted family and friends to their daughter, Kehinde’s wedding in Lagos, all routes that led to Victoria Island stood still for many hours as many celebrity men and women trooped out and stormed the party to honour them. Not only was it the Daniels event, it was also for the wealthy Lagos family, the Williams as well and you can only imagine what calibre of guests will attend such wedding. The couple's mothers pulled a large crowd of celebrity women to the party. Otunba Gbenga Daniels daughter, Kehinde got married to Lagos Bigboy, Adebola Williams popularly called Debola Lagos
The event which took place at the Balmoral Convention Centre inside the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island was rich in colours as 3 Aso Ebi's was on display at the party.. The colours for the day was gold cream and a touch of Red for both families. Almost all the celebrity women and ladies wore the Aso Ebi which was packaged in a box. The event had 3 Aso ebis and all came out beautifully well on all the guests. 3 was chosen because of how huge their guest's list will be.
One set of Aso Ebi was for the first ladies and VVIPs while there is another one for celebrity women in general and the 3rd one was picked for the bride's friends. All the Aso Ebi's are very unique. It is a combo of Sequenced.lace and Tissue lace. While some paired theirs with baby pink Aso oke headgear others went with white or green colour headgear.The over 2000 Aso Ebi was supplied by a popular fabric store, Hope by Kiki Okewale.The brides wedding dress was made by popular designer, Mai Atafo, her engagement Aso Oke was by Shadiat Alasooke.
Give it to our society women and Ladies, Sequinne lace is not for the faint-hearted, it takes someone that is very stylish and fashionable that can wear it because it is very edgy. This was what all the celebrity women wore and they added a lot of glamour to the party. Do we need to tell you about their accessories, yes!! Expensive pieces you must guess, most of them dazzled in diamonds and golds which was sort of a competition between the celebrity women, even the ones that are not wearing bogus necklace played their outfit up with diamond studs. while some settled for gold, some also decided to pearl their outfit off. It was a showcase of style at the party.
The 3 colours did justice to the guests' outfits as they came out nice to everyone. Bride’s friends also dazzled in Tissue lace. in colour white and a touch of red. They all stunned in their different styles of statement jewellery. It was indeed the couple’s day and their mothers shone like a star hence had their day to the fullest. Leading the park where the couple’s mothers, Yeye Funke Daniel and Mrs Williams.
They were everyone’s delight at the party, They were the cynosure of all eyes as all guest keep staring at their ageless beauty. To say they are very fashionable is simply stating the obvious. Anytime they step out at event, they are indeed a head turner. The couple's mothers looked radiant in their gold colour handcut Aso Oke pearled with coral jewelry.
This classy event was graced by Nigeria's Ex first lady, H.E Patience Jonathan who decked up in the beautiful Aso Ebi and green gele.
She was at the traditional engagement and also had a nice time at the reception party. Amongst the VIP callers of the day were Lagos society matriachs, Senator Florence Ita Giwa and Hajia Abba Folawiyo, chief Mrs Ireti Asemota and chief mrs Oprah Benson. we need not explain how good they looked for the party, they sat beside each other, gisted, dined and wined till they left late in the evening. Lagos society Woman and Iyalode of Itori land, Chief mrs Shade Balogun also dazzled in her Iro and Buba Aso Ebi, she glammed it up with her expensive gold and coral jewelry. She was in company of Chief mrs Shade Olatilo and Chief mrs Atinuke Abioro who all wore same Aso Ebi.
What hajia Bola Shagaya? She was not left out of the game. Chief mrs Nike Akande also made a statement. Senator Biodun Olujimi, Eleganza Boss wife, Chief mrs Shade Okoya, stylish Queen, Olori sekinat Elegushi, Erelu of Lagos, Chief mrs Abiola Dosunmu all glowed in the colourful Aso Ebi.
Also spotted were former deputy Governor of Ogun State, Yetunde Onanuga, Stylish icon, Nkiru Anumudu , Hon. Abike Dabiri and others.
Showbiz personalities and bride's friends were also not left out, they looked colourful in their White and touch of red Aso Ebi.
