HSM Yeye Lara Fashola-Fanimokun (the Oluase Olokun) is set to host the Olokun Festival in Lagos. The event which promises to be classy and Grand, going by the plans, is scheduled to hold on the 27th of August 2021, a few days from now. And venue is the prestigious The Monarch Event Centre in Lekki, Lagos. The Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi will be the Royal father of the day. And the dress code is Gold On White.
She recently told Citypeople why
she celebrates the Olokun Festival annually."We celebrate the Festival
yearly because of the promises our ancestors made to the deity.It is also to
celebrate our beautiful heritage as Yorubas."
Who is this beautiful lady of
Style behind this celebration? She told Citypeople magazine her story recently.
"I am the Yeye Olokun Olosa of Lagos. I am a Maritime Lawyer. I am an
Entrepreneur and Founder Olokun Foundation (Women & Children).I am also a
High Priestess of Olokun.I almost forgot to tell you that i am a politician.I
am a proud member of APC. I was appointed SSA to the South-West Co-ordinator at
the Presidential Support Committee in the last election.

South West Commander of the Peace Marshal of Nigeria (an agency under the
Ministry of Foreign affairs.)She is a pioneer member .
