This is the story of Olufemi
Kayode Ogunjinrin,one of the popular actors in Canada.A few days back,he spoke
to Citypeople about his success story in Nollywood.
"I was born in Ibadan. I was popularly known as Femi Father or Scovifks. I grew up there as well, till I started working as a Civil Engineer."
"I attended seventh day
Adventist Pry School at Okebola Ibadan, Had my JSS at Baptist secondary school
at Okeado and SSS at school of science Okebola both respectively in Ibadan."
"I had my institution
studies at the Polytechnic Ibadan, both OND/HND , where I graduated and bagged
a Civil engineering degree, and PGD in Civil engineering at FUTA, Akure."
"I have worked in
various construction companies as a civil engineer in Nigeria, I started from
Ogroma in 2004 Ogun state),
proceeded to konsadem(Ibadan) in 2008 to Laralek Ultimate in 2011 and Lopek engineering in 2013 both in Lagos,
before I got a federal government job as a Principal Technical engineer in Federal
Ministry of Work, Mabuchi , Abuja till I relocated abroad."
"I am happily married
with kids and called Scovifks in Canada."
"Acting for me started
way back when I was a little kid at the C&S church movement, Ayo ni o, when
I played a role of a young boy listening to an elderly advise. Since then, I
felt in love with the role and acting but couldn't start up as a career in
Nigeria due to some factors beyond explanation."
“I decided to join Tampan Canada Chapter because of the love I have for acting when I moved into Canada."
