The name Dele Ogundipe is a big name among movie practitioners in the US.This is because he holds a big title.He is the President of TAMPAN USA Chapter.He is also one of those doing us proud abroad.
A few days back, he spoke to Citypeople about his success story in Nollywood.
We asked him to tell us who Dele Ogundipe is. And he was happy to tell us that he is an Actor, Producer and Director. "I joined the movie industry in 1994 under the tutelage of Odunfa Caucus through the chairman who is also an actor and filmmaker, Mr Yinka Quadri also known as Masomo."
"I joined the movie industry as a crew member and later became an actor. I was a Production manager for many years before I started directing."
"I moved to the United States in 2015 and initiated Tampan USA chapter in 2016. I was elected as the Motion picture director, then and elected as President of the association few years later after the elected executives completed their tenure. I am currently the elected president of the association."
"Prior to moving to America, I mentored a lot of upcoming acts through my film school, Future Concept Creative School."
"A lot of the students that graduated from my film school are Tayo Adeniyi aka Shakira, Alesh Sanni, Ladi Folarin, Azeezat Shorunmu, Mimisola Daniel, Opeyemi Onaduja and others."
"All of them are doing well as filmmakers in their respective location of residence."
"I also coordinated, and managed quite a few number of movies in Nigeria including; Abulesowo, Irunmulowo, Akanji Oniposi, Edunjobi and Osupa by Yinka Quadri, Ojo Ketala and Egun by Funke Akindele, Ese Aimodi and Alajota by Toyin Aimakhu (Abraham), Asa and Sunmisola Otelemuye and many other movies by Fathia Balogun, Ibinu Elewon by Taiwo Hassan Ogogo, Borokini and Bolodeoku by Abbey Lanre, Supermom by Sola Ogunjobi and a host of others."
"I produced over 10 movies in Nigeria including, Osanle, Elewon, Filebe, Effizzy Po, Oba Irawo, Baba Tani ise wu, Eyin Oluwa logo, Onya, Eruku, Fitila meje and so on."
"Since I moved to the United States, I have produced and directed few movies including, Minaj, Rihanna, Omoge Jersey, Ounje Orita, Ewele, Abamo, Omo Meji and a host of others."
"I have also coordinated and directed other producers' movies including but not limited to; Sino by Tosin Shokoya, Akeju by Mistura Asunramu, Richmond Boys and Valentino by Yomi Gold, Get A Girlfriend, Dessy Osha, Inu Eda and Kurukuru by Mayowa Dosu, Adinilona by Ope Ajaja, Ashani Sha Dollar and Shindara by Ayo Ade Kosh, Strippers by Toyin Haastrupp, Revenge by Idowu Akinsade, Asete and The Mission by Peace Urhiefe."
