Adam&Eve Store Holds "The Content" Art Exhibition



Popular Lagos Luxury Homeware and Lifestyle Store, Adam&Eve on Friday 5th September, 2021 began It's glamorous art exhibition titled"The Content".


The 5 weeks exhibition which is being held at the popular Adam&Eve Luxury Store, located at  8, Isaac John Street, in the highbrow Ikeja GRA, Lagos, would span from 5th November to 12th December, 2021.


The Content, is a glamorous Art Exhibition from the stable of Adam&Eve. It is an ingenious concept and way of taking Art to the next,exciting level. 


It is the fourth in the series of the highly enticing annual shows. This year's edition hosted the 2nd Harmattan Edition, as it's maiden editions was held in 2017.


This year's Art exhibition featured 6 highly gifted artists showcasing their works. They are :Hamid Ibrahim, Segun Aiyesan, Wande George, Clara Aden, Emeka Nwagbara, and  Elizabeth Ekpeterson. 

They were complemented by the art works the iconic " Zaria Rebel" and one of Africa's most notable artist, Professor Bruce Onobrakpeya and the widely celebrated Lekan Onabanjo.

 Everything showcased at the exhibition is a master piece and beauty of artistry to behold.


Marking the commencement of the exhibition, a well decorated ribbon was cut by 3 eminent Nigerians representing the 3 major divide of the country. They are Chief Samuel Bolarinde, a Director at the Nigerian Breweries; Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii,  founder and Chairman of Orient Global Group and Mr. Musa Danjuma,  the Executive Chairman of Nigeria America Line Limited and Cornet Shipping Agencies Nigeria Limited who was unavoidably absent but ably replaced by Lanre Ogunlesi, Managing Director of Sofisticat.


Each of the artists whose works were displayed did presentations right before the guests of the day. They spoke extensively  about the idea behind what they have put up, many of which were already getting sold out. 


While talking to Citypeople, the host and CEO of Adam&Eve, Mrs. Modupe Ogunlesi spoke about the exhibition as a way of encouraging Nigerians to use Art to complement in interior look of their homes. As she advised lovers of real Art to come and  enjoy the worthwhile exhibition.She revealed other activities  put in place to mark the end of the year.
