Ways to store your nail polish By Zinnat Williama

Store your nail polish safely.

Screw the cap of the nail polish tightly,a good general rule is to keep the cap on the bottle whenever you are not using the brush to apply polish on your nails.

Keep your nail polish in a cool, dry, dark place, heat and light are enemies to your nail polish because it dries nail polish up easily. You can place nail polish in your refrigerator.

Agitate the polish every few days. When you paint regularly, don’t hesitate to agitate your nail polish every time you use it. Roll the polish in your hands or turn the bottle over a few times and you can also shake the bottle a few times but do not shake vigorously.

Clean messy cap threads . Gently scrub the cap threads with a moisten nail polish remover cotton wool and avoid letting the nail remover into the nail polish.

Revitalize your dry polish by adding a little lacquer thinner and make sure you do this where there is ventilation . The fumes from lacquer thinner are detrimental in tight spaces .

Shake well after adding the lacquer thinner , screw the cap back on to the nail polish and shake it gently
The thinner will gradually loosen the dried polish leaving you with liquid polish.

Don’t use nail polish remover because it will turn nail polish to a liquid mixture that won’t stick to your nails very well.

If the lid bottle of nail polish ever get sticks from dried polish, run it under hot water to loosen it. Grip it under a rag to open the lid.
