Kehinde
Adebayo is a beautiful Nigerian woman who lives in the US.
She is elegant and stylish. And a very happy woman who radiates happiness all
the time.
She is a Nurse and she has been in active service for years helping
to save life.
She lives in Maryland in the US and she recently spoke to Citypeople
Online Fashion And Beauty Magazine. She spoke about her success story.
She spoke about her Fashion and Style. "My name is Kehinde
Adebayo, but I go by the everyday name Kenny.
I am from Lagos State. My mom was from Agbor
Delta
State. My Dad was half Nigerian, half Brazilian. My mom was a
nurse. I am also a nurse living in the United States." I am a single mom
of 3
My Older daughter Ashley just graduated from University
with a BSc in psychology
We
asked her about her career as a Nurse. How has she found being a nurse?
"I find it very rewarding, humbling and challenging especially
now with the pandemic, she explained.
"I am a paediatric skilled nurse working with kids with
complex medical conditions"
Why
did she choose to be a nurse?
"I love taking care of people, either the sick or just
anyone going through some form of pain and who needs care, it gives me a
fulfilled satisfaction and like I said earlier very rewarding plus I grew up
with a mom who was a military nurse working in the military hospital in Yaba,
Lagos."
"Plus I saw my step mom go through painful Cervical Cancer
and the way my Dad took care of her, meant a lot to me."
She
is very stylish. What is the secret of her Fashion and Style?
"Omg, I love to look good and dress nice when I get the
time. My logo is Happiness is free. One does have to do things to bring that
inner happiness to oneself and for me it’s dancing and looking good. Self-love
is what I preach and abide by.
I am also into the healthy lifestyle, promoting healthy diets
and exercise for everyone. When you do this, you focus on your health and avoid
illnesses and diseases from ravishing your body and mind."
How is she coping with the
pandemic?
"This pandemic is one thing I never saw coming.
I do my best to stay safe. Mask, social distancing, hand
washing, you name it, I do it. I also tell my kids and loved ones to do the
same.
Try to get enough sleep and drink lots of water to hydrate.
Meditate to keep my soul, exercise and eat healthy to nourish my body.
What else does one do again, but leave the rest to God. And
most especially pray pray pray for this virus to go away. And pray for people
to listen and do the right thing coz if we all play our parts, it can be done
to eradicate this deadly virus."
We
asked her to tell us about her growing up years. Where was she born?
"I was born at UCH Ibadan with my twin sister Taiwo
We lived in Ibadan for a while then moved to Yaba, then Ilupeju.
After mom divorced from my dad we lived in Ogba and some more places. Did my
university in UNIBEN, youth service in Jos, worked a bit in a bank in Lagos before
traveling to the United States.
I have an older sister and a younger brother. Two half-sisters
who still live in Nigeria."
