I Took After My Mum As A Fabric Merchant – Lola Tinubu-George, CEO Lolarsfabrics In London



Lola Tinubu-George is a good advert for what she does for a living. She is a popular Fabric merchant who a lot of celebrities go to for their Fabrics. She is beautiful. And she dresses well. She is always glamorously attired to parties. She sells good and exquisite fabrics.

 Citypeople Online Fashion and Beauty magazine recently asked her to tell us her success secrets and how she ended up selling Fabrics.

Why did you go into Fabric business?      
It's been a family business. My grandma had been selling fabrics since the 50s in gutta. My mum has been selling gold there as well since the 60s.
I love fashion, dressing and styling people and have a flair for stylish fabrics.
You have been running Lolarsfabrics for how long?
I have been running it for the past 6years.

What kind of Fabrics do you sell?
I sell variety of fabrics. Swiss voile, guipure laces, luxury couture pieces, handmade celebration fabrics, tulle laces and I cater for the younger generation as well with affordable stylish fabrics

Tell us a bit about your grandmother...
My grandma was Alhaja Olomo meje. The ashiwaju adinni of Ikorodu muslims. She was well known in the Lagos market before she died.
