Celebrating Beautiful Canada Based Actress, Afolashade Quadry

In Canada, Afolashade Quadry is a popular actress. She is good at her craft. She is also into other businesses as well. A few days ago, this beautiful lady spoke to CityPeople about her love for Entertainment. Below are excerpts of her interview.

Please introduce yourself to us and what you do for a living

My name is Afolashade Quadry, a native of Abeokuta Ogun State. I'm a single mum to the most adorable 14yr old, I'm a health worker & I am also into businesses, Fashion & Food precisely.

How did acting start for you?

Started for me as a child playing roles alongside an imaginary crew & cast, to entertain my siblings & sometimes imaginary audiences. I was a member of the Cultural troop in my secondary school, Abeokuta Grammar School Abeokuta, I went further by joining the Cultural troop for Ogun State where the likes of Kabirat Kafidipe were also on the team..... It’s been a lifelong passion. Just didn't pursue it as much back home in Nigeria for many reasons.

You have been acting now for how long?

It's been a lifelong thing for me. Entertainment altogether, tried my hands on Music too at some point. It's been so long, just didn't pursue it as much.

How challenging has it been sustaining your interest in acting abroad?

Quite challenging, because you have to earn a living at the same time create time to hone your talent/passion. But because we love what we do & love trumps everything else, it is made possible.

Who are those actors you roll with abroad?

Starboy Temidayo is my amiable Oga, Deborah Ewedafe is my good friend, Kudirat Irorunola is my sister & friend, Nosa Obaseki is my big brother the list is endless...

Where were you born? Where did you grow up? Which schools did you attend?

I was born in Abeokuta Ogun State, I grew up there too. I attended Ogun International Montessori School Idi-Aba Abeokuta, Abeokuta Grammar School Idi-Aba Abeokuta, Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye.
