Before he relocated abroad a few years ago, he was very popular because of his roles in many Yoruba movies. He was quite close to star actor Odunlade Adekola. But he relocated abroad in pursuit of greener pastures. He is doing well in New Jersey, his base. A few days ago, he spoke to CityPeople about his new life in New Jersey, in the United States. Below are excerpts of the interview.

You
have been acting now for how long?
My acting career spanned across stage and television is close to 15 years.
How
challenging has it been sustaining your interest in acting abroad?
Challenging is the word that comes to mind. It’s just like
starting from scratch. The most challenging aspect is putting a team together
for a shoot, a lot of people show or express interest in the industry here but
they are busy with a whole lot of other things. Most notable work. The
unpredictable weather is another aspect. I don’t allow these challenges to affect
me as I view each and every one of them as a learning process.
Who
are those actors you roll with abroad?
I roll with everybody who is willing to work with me. I love
to learn and I believe everyone has unique qualities, so I’m not restricted to
a set of people, this has given me the opportunity to work with amazing Actors
with great personalities all over the county. I appreciate them for believing
in me and the amazing hospitality they offer each time I work with them. I also
want to appreciate the non-Actors who support and encourage us, the amazing people
who voluntarily allow us use their houses, cars, offices and whole lots of
other things.
Where
were you born? Where did you grow up? Which schools did you attend?
I was born in Lagos State, I grew up in
multiple places. Ilupeju, Lawanson, Ebute- Metta,
Lagos
Island, Iporin Estate and Mushin. Mushin accounts for the
highest percentage. I attended Mainland Children School for my
primary education, Ilupeju College and Birth Freeman High
School
for my secondary education and Lagos State University where I
obtained BSc in Industrial Relations and Personnel
Management.
