Celebrating Veteran Actress, Ashabi Olorisha

In the US,all the actors know her.She is very popular and active in the movie community.Just mention the nickname Ashabi Olorisha and everyone will tell you they know this beautiful lady.She spoke to Citypeople about her success story.Below are excerpts.

I am Aderonke Adedola Ajenise-Oduborisa, born at Island Maternity Hospital, Lagos Nigeria 57yrs ago to Mr.  & Mrs. Ajenise-Oduborisa

 

My father was from Ladega ruling house of Ikorodu and Ajakaye ruling house of Ishagamu.

 

My mother was from Olubi/Solomade and Ranodu ruling house of Ikorodu.

 

I am the last daughter, 5th child of my mum and first daughter (2nd child) of my dad. I was the favorite of my dad.

 

I grew up at Ebute Metta and my alias then was “Bose Lagos Street”

 

I had both primary and secondary school in Ebute Metta.

 

I had diploma in Executive Secretary at Wemboad Institute of Secretarial and Administration, Kano after which I joined tractor equipments of UAC Nig Plc in Kano in 1991. Though, I worked at “audio visual” of Adebowale Electricial and Murhi International before relocating to Kano.

 

I started my acting career in 1977 and fully involved in 1979.

 

I was part and parcel of village headmaster series then, I was also with Danladi Bako “Sparc” Tv Series with RMD and Memud Ali-Balogun.

 

Alade Aromire gave me a scholarship to get a diploma in theater-arts at the U.I.

I relocated to UK in 2000 and moved to U.S in 2008 after I  founded ANTP UK & Ireland. 

I am blessed with a son, Michael Oluwagbemileke Opeyemi and 5 adopted glorious kids with d one best of d bests grandson “Adefolawe Mojobaninuolaoluwa.
