Bimpe Oyelami is a bundle of talent.bShe is good at what she
does. She is a damn good actress.That is to be expected.She comes from a
pedigree of creative people.
She told Citypeople her story a few days ago.Below are
excerpts.
Please introduce yourself to us and what you do for a
living?
I am a pediatric nurse currently in the USA
How did acting start for you?
I was born on stage. My dad was one of actors with late
Duro-Ladipo theater group in the 60's. So I have been performing when I was a
baby.
How challenging has it been sustaining your interest in
acting abroad?
It hasn't been so easy at all. You know we all lives in
different states, and all of us have another job to make an ends meet. We
cannot spend more than 3 days at a go at a movie location. Most of our
movies ends up unfinished due to individual time limitation. It costs a lot of
money too. Reasons most of us prefer to come to Nigeria instead.

Where were you born?Where did you grow up? Which schools did
you attend?
I was born in Osogbo but a native of Iragbiji Osun
State. I grew up in Osogbo. I attended Adenle primary school Osogbo,
Baptist secondary grammar school, Iragbiji, Obafemi Awolowo University
Ile Ife, Leads school of Technology, Wilmington Delaware, USA,
Delaware Technical and Community College USA.
