"My name is Nkeonyelu Wendy Okoli...but everyone simply calls me Wendy, my parents included. I'm an actor, dancer and model based in Liverpool, UK."
How challenging has it been sustaining her interest in the industry.?
"The movie industry..well...the entertainment industry as a whole, is very challenging and Lord knows there are times I wonder why I took this path, haha! "
"I gave up a financial secure managerial position to pursue acting and there are times the going has been really touch especially with covid, but I've never regretted it."
"I absolutely love what I do so sustaining my interest has never been an issue. I love everything about being on a movie set...except when we're shooting outside in the freezing cold, that I don't particularly enjoy, lol!"
Where was she born? Where did she grow up?
"I was born in the UK. Our family moved back to Nigeria when I was still a baby so I grew up in Nigeria...first in Kaduna, then Lagos, then back to Kaduna and finally settled in Abuja. I graduated from the University of Abuja and moved back to the UK after NYSC.
