How To Make Your PERFUME Last Longer

Choose a perfume that will last longer: the concentration depends on the type of perfume you are using. The perfume contains the moist oil and is the most expensive the longest staying power.

Use the right techniques for applying perfume: fragrance will last longer on skin that is well moisturized , because oils on the skin trap the fragrance and makes them last longer. Apply the fragrance on a moisturized skin and majorly on the pulse points.

Don’t overdo it with perfume : avoid applying your perfume directly on your cloth as it can stain and also doesn’t diffuse the scent as nicely as the natural oils on your skin.

Re-apply perfume throughout the day: you can always carry a small travel size bottle with you as you may have to reapply. Fragrances last 4-8hours depending on the quality and concentration of the essential oils.

Layering products from the same line is another effective way to make a fragrance last. You might use the scented body gel, treat skin with the body lotion and then spray the Eau de parfum spray on top. The combo of products will help the scent to maintain fullness and extend throughout the day.

Don’t store in the bathroom : humidity and dampness will break down the perfume and weaken the fragrance, keep it in your bedroom instead.
